Communion for the Housebound
Housebound parishioners of St. Stephen who might wish to receive Holy Communion on Sundays can register by calling the office at 403-782-3514. Please be sure to provide your complete address. Trained Eucharistic Ministers are available to offer the service.
A small team from the local Oblate Community provide spiritual guidance to those who request it. Please call the office to book an appointment (403-782-3514). This is a free service.
Grief counseling is provided to help people cope with grief and mourning following the death of loved ones. This service is for parishioners of St. Stephen and is offered by Fr. Shimit and First Lastname, CGSC, CSIC. Please call the office to make an appointment (403-782-3514)
Originally from the Cursillo movement, St. Paul’s Prayer Group has started and is held in the rectory on alternate Tuesday’s (alternate to the Bible Study Sessions). Everyone is welcome.
A Bible Study Group has begun at St. Stephen. It is held in the church rectory and will run every other Tuesday. The dates will be on the monthly calendar. Everyone is welcome. At each gathering we choose one parable from the Gospel to reflect and share our insights onto the word of God.
